(Revised) Marilynn Jackson Feb 2010 BoiseIONS presenter

This months BoiseIONS presentation is Restoring Balance and Harmony Energetically:  Exploring the Synergies of Essential Oils and Energy Therapy by Marilynn Jackson.  It is at the Boise Unitarian Universalist Fellowship 6200 N Garrett, Garden City Idaho on Sunday Feb 28 at 2pm.

About Marilynn Jackson…

As a Registered Nurse Marilynn has enjoyed a career that is rich in experiences from clinical nursing in critical care settings and in the air (flight nursing), to the rigors of management at both the mid-level and executive/administrative heights.  Education has been equally important in creating a solid foundation and a Bachelors in Nursing, a Masters in Management/Organizational Behavior and a Doctorate in Business Psychology are also part of her background.  For almost two decades she wove all of this together for a very successful consulting practice traveling the country, presenting workshops, providing on-site support to hospitals large and small, emphasizing the power of sustainable relationships among the workforce. She is an international speaker and award winning author of numerous books on nursing, leadership and critical thinking.  Somewhere in there, Marilynn has also managed to create a blended family of five kids, seven grandkids and two lovable golden retrievers.

And now her emphasis is on energy, specifically the healing kind of energy that we can all access to reduce stress, calm the migraine, relieve anxiety and minimize any type of pain while helping our bodies to do what is necessary to gain physical health.  As a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner, a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist and a Registered Nurse Marilynn maintains a practice called Intuitive Options here in the Treasure Valley.  Today she will talk about all of these approaches as well as provide some helpful tips for self care that will bring immediate results.
